ITS Training and Apprenticeships have been awarded Centre of Excellence status by Skills for Care
ITS Training and Apprenticeships have announced that Skills for Care has awarded them Centre of Excellence status for their exceptional commitment to learning and development. Achieving the status is a unique badge of quality for learning and development providers in the adult social care sector.
As one of only 14 centres in the UK that have been awarded the Centre of Excellence status, this demonstrates that ITS Training and Apprenticeships:
- Have an exemplary commitment to meeting learner needs
- Are compliant with the social model of care
- Are firmly committed to measuring the impact of training on the lives of the people who need care and support
- Has a provision that can be directly mapped to the Leadership Qualities Framework
In order to achieve the status, ITS Training and Apprenticeships have undergone a rigorous application process that assessed a number of key areas that included:
- Leadership and Management
- Quality Assurance
- Staff Development
- Working with Learners
Tracey Nicholson, Skills for Care who reviewed the application from ITS Training and Apprenticeship commented, “We are delighted to welcome ITS Training and Apprenticeships as a Skills for Care endorsed provider. They demonstrated an exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of its learners and delivering a high quality learning and development provision in order to attain ‘Centre of Excellence’ status”.
