Yorkshire Boutiques partner with local Charity for Health & Wellbeing Fashion Show
An upcoming fashion show focused on mental health awareness, personal wellbeing and body confidence is ready to make everyone feel good.
Bella Eve Boutique and Charlie Lilly Style and Design have partnered up with local charity, South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation (SYCF) to run the #OnTrendForMentalHealth Fashion Show and will be showcasing their collections on the night. The Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business Group have also partnered up and giving support for the event.
The evening will feature the latest trends for occasion, work and casual wear modelled by women of all ages and sizes. The show will also include stalls run by local charities giving tips and advice on looking after your health and wellbeing, complimentary therapies and beauty treatments.
Event organiser, Sonia Bielaszewska said: “Our fashion show is going to be a lot of fun and an opportunity for everyone to indulge a little! But more importantly it’s an opportunity for us to talk about and spread understanding of mental health issues and how the local business community can contribute to addressing this important issue.
“We know that we need to do more to support in particular, young people who are experiencing mental health issues which go on to impact the rest of their lives and to do that we need work collectively to make a difference.”
Proceeds from the night will go to the In Memory of Molly Hurst Fund which raises money for organisations working to support young people with their mental health. The fund was set up earlier this year by the Hurst family, in conjunction with SYCF after they lost their daughter Molly to suicide in 2017.
#OnTrendForMentalHealth Fashion Show is taking place on Thursday 5th July at the Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham from 5.30pm. Tickets for the Fashion Show are currently on sale.
