Our ‘Member Mentoring Programme’ provides a fantastic opportunity for you to become a business mentor and share your wealth of industry experience as a business leader in your field of expertise. By providing your knowledge and best practice in the form of free mentoring, you can have a positive impact on a business looking to improve specific knowledge gaps within their business processes.
Not only will this allow you to hone your own management techniques, but you will also have the chance to develop your own skills as a leader within your field.
As part of the programme we are looking for Chamber members who operate in an executive or senior management role within their business. You will have a solid background in running a successful large business or have previous experience in a management or mentoring role.
Once you have registered your interest, we’ll shortlist those interested into a number of categories which reflects the expertise provided.
You will then receive requests for mentoring from mentees from the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce network, which will allow you to expand your networking opportunities and help other businesses with your advice and guidance.
A mentee will be able to request a maximum of 2 hours of mentoring from each mentor. Once this has been delivered you will receive a automated response to confirm the mentoring has been delivered. The same mentee will be able to request further mentoring in 2 hour increments if more is required.
