DESCRIPTION:Member price – £165.00 + VAT\nNon-member price – £185.00 +VAT \nDuration – 2 Day’s \nThis course is for existing First Aiders\, who require renewal of their Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate\, to obtain a further 3 years certification. Once a certificate has expired\, they are no longer considered to be a competent first aider and would need to re qualify via the 3 day course. \nCourse Contents \n\nThe Aims and Role of the First Aider\nMinimising infections\nRecording accidents & incidents\nPrimary and Secondary Surveys\nUnconsciousness Casualty including Recovery Position\nAdult CPR & AED\nChoking\nAnaphylaxis\, Poisons\, Asthma and Chest Trauma\nHeart Attacks and Stroke Patients\nWound Management and Bleeding\nBurns and Scalds\nSprains\, Strains\, and Fractures\nDiabetic Emergencies and Seizures\n\nPlease note that photographic ID is required in order to sit the exams. Successful delegates will receive a certificate\, valid for a further three years. \nDelegates are required to produce a copy of their existing certificate before the start of the course to ensure they are eligible to attend the requalification course.
