She crafts these stories through exhibitions that feature her imaginary realism compositions\, material culture\, and historical film & media she’s researched in archives and then curated into the shows and collaborative\, community-engagement projects. \nIn 2021\, the US-Fulbright Commission awarded Vanderpool a Fulbright Artist Fellowship to explore relationships between the Industrial Midwest region of the USA and the North of England.
