SUMMARY:TorqTraction: The Business Racing Event
DESCRIPTION:TorqTraction is officially launching — and we’re kicking things off with a hands‑on event for people who enjoy good business conversations\, love cars… or just fancy reliving a bit of their childhood. \nThe Details\nDate: Tuesday 24 June \nVenue: TorqTraction Unit\, Goldthorpe Industrial Estate\, Rotherham\, S63 9BL\nWe’re running two 2‑hour sessions: \n\n9:00am – 11:00am\n11:30am – 1:30pm\n\n\nThis is a daytime get‑together designed for business owners and professionals who want to connect in a different way. No pressure. Just shared interests\, a bit of friendly competition\, and proper conversations that happen naturally. \nWhat’s Happening?\nAt the heart of the day is our 9ft x 5ft Scalextric track\, professionally installed and running throughout each session. \nTo make sure everything runs smoothly and feels properly polished\, we’ve brought in a specialist events company to manage the setup and operation of the track. That means a fully prepared circuit\, reliable equipment\, and racing that flows effortlessly — so you can just turn up\, get involved\, and enjoy the experience. \nThe track itself offers a great mix of fast sections and technical corners\, and is capable of supporting up to six cars racing at once on the same circuit. It’s engaging without being intimidating\, making it easy for anyone to jump in\, whether you’ve raced Scalextric before or not. Racing will run continuously throughout the session\, giving plenty of chances to have a go\, step back\, chat\, and then jump back in again when it suits. \nIt’s a brilliant ice‑breaker and a genuinely easy way to spark conversations without forcing them. \nYou can jump in for: \n\n\n🏁 F1 Style Racing \n\n\n⏱️ Time Trails: Fastest lap attempts \n\n\n🏎️ Head to Head Racing \n\n\nWhether you’re competitive or just in it for a laugh\, it’s all part of the fun – but the goal of the day is to get everyone connecting. \nThe Point of the Day\nWe’re not here just to race cars — we’re here to make it easier to meet good people. \n The Scalextric gives everyone a common talking point\, a bit of competitive fun\, and a perfect excuse to strike up conversations that wouldn’t normally happen. \nCLICK HERE FOR PRICING AND MORE INFORMATION

SUMMARY:Internal Auditing Training - ISO9001:2015
DESCRIPTION:Member Price – £450 + VAT\nNon-member Price – £500 + VAT \nDuration – 2 Day \n  \nThis 2-day course provides training in the techniques used to audit a range of Management Systems\, in particular Quality Management Systems created to BS EN ISO 9001:2015\, and will be particularly useful to those required to establish a Quality Management System (QMS)\, or to undertake audits of Quality\, Environmental or Health and Safety Systems. \nBecause the 2015 version of BS EN ISO 9001 does not stipulate requirements for a documented QMS\, experience is drawn on to identify the structure of typical Quality Management Systems (and what should subsequently be audited) \nExternal 3rd Party Certification Bodies will expect that existing\, and any new\, Internal Auditors have been re-Certified as having received training through a course addressing BS EN ISO 9001:2015. \n  \nEnsure your auditors are qualified. \nThe practical exercises include simulated “live” audits\, which provide an opportunity for delegates to practice the skills required. \n  \nBenefits \nNo prior knowledge is required. Knowledge of the content and structuring of a QMS is gained and auditing skills acquired. \nThe Certificate of Attendance\, provided to successful delegates\, will satisfy the training requirements of UKAS Accredited 3rd Party Certification Bodies. \n

SUMMARY:UK Steel Strategy: What new quota limits mean for UK businesses
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER YOUR PLACE HERE\n\nThursday 11 June 2026\n11:00am – 12:00pm\n\nFrom 1 July 2026\, the UK Government will introduce a new steel trade measure\, reducing overall tariff-free steel import quota volumes by 60% compared with the current steel safeguard measure. Imports above the new quota limits will be subject to a 50% tariff. \nBCC analysis has highlighted that this reduction is greater than the EU’s planned 47% reduction\, with some steel product sub-categories facing quota reductions of up to 90%. \nThese changes could have significant cost\, supply chain and customs compliance implications for UK businesses importing steel or using steel products within their operations. \nIn this one-hour webinar\, experts from the British Chambers of Commerce and ChamberCustoms will cover: \n\nthe timeframe for implementation of the new framework;\npolicy insight on why the quota changes are being introduced;\nthe scope of steel goods affected;\navailable transitional arrangements;\ncustoms compliance implications; and\nwhat UK businesses should do to prepare.\n\nSpeakers include: \n\nEmmanuel Gianquitto\, Head of Consultancy and Training\, Chamber Customs\nMarika Majewska\, Customs Specialist\, ChamberCustoms\nWilliam Bain\, Head of Trade Policy\, British Chambers of Commerce\n\nThe session will also include time for Q&A\, giving attendees the opportunity to raise questions about what the new measures could mean for their business. \nREGISTER YOUR PLACE HERE
