SUMMARY:Later Life Care Planning
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER YOUR FREE PLACE NOW\n  \nIf you’re worried about paying for care later in life\, this is for you. It might be for yourself or a loved one. (LGBTQ+ session) \nLife is complicated enough especially when the legal system\, financial world and healthcare system weren’t built for LGBTQ+ people. Luckily things are getting better. But typical lifestyle choices make us different. That’s where specialist advice comes in. \nWhen it comes to paying for care\, there are a variety of options. You might consider downsizing\, releasing equity from your home\, or using pension income or investments/savings and your family might be in a position to ‘top up’ and state-funded care. If you’re LGBTQ+ you might also be thinking about the lack of specialist care. In this session\, we’ll speak about your LGBTQ+-friendly care. \nOur guest speaker\, Scott Walker will cover the importance of making a Powers of Attorney so you know that you have someone elected to control your health and your wealth for you.* \nA bit more about Jamie \nJamie Lowe is a financial planner and director of True Self Wealth Ltd. Our mission at True Self Wealth is to make sure you feel empowered\, so you know you’re in control and ‘clued up’. He will help you create the financial future that is right for you. He specialises in and is passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community but more importantly\, he prides himself on approaching everybody as an individual. \nCan’t make it? \nIf you’re unable to attend or would like to book a one-to-one meeting with Jamie at a time and place that suits your needs\, please contact Jamie via trueselfwealth@sjpp.co.uk or 07469 712299. Alternatively\, you can book a Zoom call www.calendly.com/jamie-lowe-tsw \nA bit more about Scott \nFor 15 years\, Scott has been helping clients to achieve peace of mind and to deal with the practicalities of death and old age. Scott has built up a wealth of experience in Wills and Probate. He has been a consultant at Richard Nelson Solicitors since January 2022. He made the career move so that he can serve his clients’ flexibility by providing a safe and inclusive space. Scott’s approach is friendly and down-to-earth. He understands the need for sensitivity and to listen to your needs at what can be a stressful and upsetting time. \n*Will writing and Powers of Attorney involve the referral to a service that is separate and distinct from those offered by St. James’s Place and are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. \nTrue Self Wealth Ltd. is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the group’s wealth management products and services\, more details of which are set out on the group’s website www.sjp.co.uk/products. \n  \nREGISTER YOUR FREE PLACE NOW

SUMMARY:Selling in a Downturn - Supported
DESCRIPTION:A one-day workshop for Sales Professionals dealing with the specific challenges of selling and staying motivated in an economic downturn. In addition to our five follow-up’s this workshop will be supported with two online review sessions in the first three months along with an online Q&A portal. \nWho is Selling in a Downturn for? This cohort style course is aimed at SME’s who want access to the same powerful sales strategies developed for our corporate clients. \nWhat challenge does this address? During turbulent economic times\, selling becomes much more difficult\, budgets are frozen\, new projects are delayed or cancelled altogether. Competition for the business that is still up for grabs is brutal\, and pressure from buyers to drop prices is fierce. \nHow will Selling in a Downturn meet the challenge? Covid aside it’s been 14 years since the last major economic downturn\, and since 2008 there have been more good years than bad\, all in all over this period we’ve had it easy. When things get tough and the phone stops ringing you need to double down and start working harder on the things that matter. \n70% Part funding is available on the price of this workshop shown below through Skills Bank and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority for any organisation based in the South Yorkshire region limited to two attendees per company for more information contact us on info@novalead.co.uk or call 0330 053 5674. \nHow the Skills Bank part funding works? Any South Yorkshire business can purchase up to two tickets for this event and claim back 70% of the cost of the event. Simply purchase and pay for the tickets using the website link below\, we will confirm the ticket purchase to Skills Bank and your company will be issued a contract via Calderdale College\, on completion of the training you will be reimbursed directly to your bank account. \nAfter the part funding any South Yorkshire business can access this course for £96.00 + VAT per person for up to two people. \nAdditionally we are providing FREE a 21st Century Business Skills CARD DECK worth £137.00 to every attendee on the day. \nCLICK HERE FOR TICKETS \n
