DESCRIPTION:To take part in this online streamed seminar\, you must be based in the Sheffield City Region and enrol onto the ScaleUp 360 FREE Business Support Programme first. Please use the link below to register. \nCovid-19 has brought risk management to the fore. How many of us had prepared for this?\nWe begin by distinguishing risks and issues\, before considering various examples of risk and identifying four approaches to risk management. \nA key tool is a risk matrix\, which plots impact against likelihood. The group discusses how the basic model might be improved. Do variables such as manageability provide insight or just overcomplicate? Could models such as ‘Suns and Clouds’ from Evans help? \nLink to book: www.scaleup360.co.uk/register

SUMMARY:ScaleUp 360: ‘Public Relations: building goodwill for our business’
DESCRIPTION:To take part in this online streamed seminar\, you must be based in the Sheffield City Region and enrol onto the ScaleUp 360 FREE Business Support Programme first. Please use the link below to register. \nWe start by identifying what we mean by public relations (PR) – and\, more importantly\, what we don’t. PR isn’t about handling the media or part of your marketing mix. \nIt’s instead about establishing goodwill between your organisation\, your stakeholders\, and your publics – and that sometimes means that it’s you that needs to adapt\, not them. \nLink to book: www.scaleup360.co.uk/register

SUMMARY:ScaleUp 360: ‘Hospitality revenue management for the Covid-19 recovery
DESCRIPTION:To take part in this online streamed seminar\, you must be based in the Sheffield City Region and enrol onto the ScaleUp 360 FREE Business Support Programme first. Please use the link below to register. \nThe session will start by examining the unique revenue management challenges that Covid-19 presents for the hospitality sector with a specific focus on the difficulties of achieving optimal pricing strategies where we have limited forecasting data\, social distancing restrictions and uncertain customer demand. \nThe focus will then shift to considering the revenue lessons we can learn from previous sudden and drastic falls in demand\, such as the reactions of the industry to 9/11\, SARS and the 2008 economic crash – what would we do again\, what would we do differently and how does this situation differ? \nWe’ll end by proposing a range of revenue strategies that you could consider for your business to help optimise demand during the recovery period. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas. \nLink to book: www.scaleup360.co.uk/register
