DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE \nThe Export Control Joint Unit invites you to join a webinar to hear more about the breadth of UK Sanctions against Russia – Thursday 24th March 2022 at 1400 – 1530. \nThe Export Control Joint Unit has issued a number of Notices to Exporters in the last two weeks on sanctions against Russia. \nThe new measures include a list of critical-industry goods and critical-industry technology which are now prohibited for export\, supply or transfer to\, or for use in\, Russia\, along with the provision of technical assistance\, financial services and brokering services. There are also new financial sanctions against Russia.\n\nYou will hear on these topics from the following government departments: \n\nscope of the sanctions – Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office\, Sanctions Task Force\nscope and application of trade sanctions – ECJU\nfinancial Sanctions: restrictions and general licences – HM Treasury Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI)\nExport Support Service Ukraine / Russia – Department for International Trade\nenforcement of trade sanctions – HM Revenue and Customs\n\nThere will be an opportunity to ask questions at the event. We also welcome your questions beforehand so we can address as many issues as possible within the time.
