SUMMARY:Digital rehabilitation & movement measurement in sport\, health & wellbeing
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the 15th February to find out how the use of digital rehabilitation & movement measurement can enhance customer value. \nThe rapid advance of digital technologies has brought big changes to human movement measurement. But the constant evolution and ‘push’ of products and techniques can make it difficult to get the functionality and cost you need for your business to innovate and grow. And how do you ensure value to your customers through best use of the data generated from these tools? \nJoin us at our breakfast event on 15th February to hear from Dr Ben Heller and Dr Marcus Dunn from the Sports Engineering Research Group on the latest research and innovations in digital human movement measurement\, and discuss how to answer the ‘so what?’ question of value to your business and customers. \nThis event will provide an opportunity to network with other businesses in your sector\, see the state-of-the-art facilities at our Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre\, and explore how collaborating with the university can help you drive growth in your business. You’ll also find out more about the potential funding opportunities available to SMEs in and around the Sheffield City Region to support innovative idea development\, including the Sheffield Innovation Programme and Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme. \nProvisional programme: \n\nInnovations in digital rehabilitation and human movement measurement\nHow data visualisation methods can enhance customer value\nHow SERG and AWRC work with the region’s SMEs to drive business growth through evaluation\, testing\, and validation of new ideas.\n\nOther information: \nPlaces are limited to 25 persons\, and we will operate a first-come-first-served basis. If demand is high for places\, we will consider running the event again. \nBreakfast refreshments & catering will be provided at the event. If you have any dietary requirements\, please either let us know upon registration or email Innovation@shu.ac.uk. \nShould you have any questions prior to the event\, please do not hesitate to email us at Innovation@shu.ac.uk. \nThis event will adhere to the government’s COVID-19 guidance. \nHow to book: \nhttps://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/digital-rehab-movement-measurement-in-sport-health-and-wellbeing-tickets-243687123747
