Course Overview

This course is ideal for those who are considering entering, or are already working in the construction and civil engineering industry. The course will provide delegates with health and safety knowledge and understanding when working on site to keep themselves, others and the general public safe and the importance of reporting unsafe acts to prevent accidents from happening.

This course is the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card) and to the progressive CITB Site Safety Plus suite of courses that range from training for operatives into the industry, up to Senior Manager and Director.

Who Should Attend the CITB Health & Safety Awareness Course?

 This one day course can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry. The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role. It can be used as preparation training for the CITB Health, safety and environment test or as refresher training.
