Matthew Trueman
Matthew brings over 5 years of marketing experience and a wealth of expertise to his role as Marketing Manager, having worked in the Technology and Education sectors. At the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, Matt will lead on marketing strategy, digital communications, SEO, content creation, and social media campaigns. His work supports the BR Chamber’s mission to champion the South Yorkshire business community and enhance regional engagement.
Matthew began his marketing career in 2020 and has since achieved multiple qualifications through the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), including the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing and a Level 6 Marketing Manager Apprenticeship. He is especially passionate about digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO, storytelling through content, and strategic communications.
In 2023, Matthew was recognised as South Yorkshire’s Technology & Digital Apprentice of the Year. Matt also volunteers his time as the Vice Chair of Education for CIM Yorkshire Group, helping to inspire future marketers across the region.
