Course Information

This course is aimed at those responsible for assessing the risks associated with competent persons working within electrical control panels and other enclosures whist it is energised; for the purpose of fault finding, making adjustments and for elecrical safety testing. The course focuses on situations where Regulation 14 of the Electrical at Work Regulations 1989 permits work on or near live conductors and serves to show how, with careful consideration and the implementation of control measures, the risks can be reduced to a level where work near live conductors is acceptable.

 

Delegates are expected to have a basic understanding of electrical science and have practical appreciation of electrical installation work.
