Sun’s out, trowels out! This summer, we are teaming up with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) as host for their Summer Working Party – and they need your help! This is a unique opportunity, open to all, to try a range of conservation techniques, meaning you’ll be getting your hands dirty and helping to restore parts of this magnificent House & Gardens. Working with a team of world-class specialists, you’ll get hands-on experience of masonry, carpentry and joinery, roof slating, window repair, and lime plastering, along with a range of other skills.
