Save the date! Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards timetable announced

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber is calling on businesses who are celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2025 to share their success as part of the Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards.

The Barnsley & Rotherham Business Awards is one of the most highly coveted business events in the local business calendar, and with representatives from more than 500 businesses expected to take part, the awards will culminate in a glittering evening of celebration, taking place at Magna on Friday 14^th November.

In recognition of their longstanding contribution towards shaping South Yorkshire’s economy, businesses celebrating their 25^th, 50^th, 75^th and 100^th anniversaries in 2025 may be eligible to receive a special “salute to business” award, which will be presented during the evening.

The awards categories, which will be officially launched in June, will give businesses from across the region the chance to highlight how they have gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to delivering excellence in a diverse range of business areas including community impact, customer service and sustainability. The awards will also recognise the achievements of individuals, from apprentices taking the first steps on their chosen vocations to business leaders who have been instrumental in shaping South Yorkshire’s regional economy. A full list of award categories will be announced in June.

Supported by headline sponsor Barnsley College, the evening promises to be a night to remember, and with lots of different ways to get involved, Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber is inviting businesses from across the region to take part.

The awards timetable for 2025 will be as follows:

• Early June:  award entries launched
• Mid-September: entries close and judging commences
• Late-September: shortlist announced and tickets go on sale
• 14^th November: awards evening takes place
