Utility Source Hosts Event to Support Property Developers and Local Charity
South Yorkshire-based utility consultancy Utility Source is inviting property developers, investors, and professionals to a free networking and knowledge-sharing event at Wath Cricket Club on 16th September, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
The evening will offer a rare chance for those in the property and construction sectors to connect, share experiences, and access practical advice around one of the industry’s most common frustrations: utility connections.
Founder Dean Pattison will also present Utilitopoly – Utility Source’s awareness campaign, created to help developers get clarity and confidence around utility connection processes, timelines, and costs.
“Too many great development projects get held up or hit with unexpected costs because of utility issues,” said Dean Pattison, owner of Utility Source. “We’ve launched Utilitopoly to give developers the knowledge and tools to stay in control, without the jargon and fuss. This event is about making those conversations accessible and honest, in a space where people can share and learn from each other.”
The event is also a chance to seek advice and support on the kinds of utility connection problems that often delay developments, including Yorkshire Water connections, road closures and permits, utility payments and chasing confirmations, and scheduling across multiple providers.
Held at Wath Cricket Club, a longstanding community partner that Utility Source sponsors, the event is part of the company’s commitment to giving back to its local area.
As Dean explains:
“None of us know the first thing about cricket, but we’re proud to back a club that’s at the heart of our local community. Hosting our event here just made sense.”
While tickets are free, attendees are encouraged to make an optional donation to Sincere Support, a charity that provides financial and emotional support to families of sick or bereaved children across Yorkshire. Utility Source has supported the charity through previous fundraising initiatives and is using this event to raise awareness of its vital work.
