Bag it for Bluebell returns to Brinsworth
Those looking to empty their wardrobes and clear their cupboards will once again have the chance as the popular ‘Bag it for Bluebell’ returns to Brinsworth in August.
The monthly collection days at the Brinsworth Community Centre car park, which return on August 24th, will offer people the chance to drop off their previously loved items to Bluebell Wood’s trusty collection van.
With each bag of donated items raising an average of £15, the charity’s collection days make a real difference to children and families going through the most difficult of times.
Terri Hanson, Head of Retail at Bluebell Wood, said: “We’re very excited to be restarting our Bag it for Bluebell days at Brinsworth after taking a break to help keep people safe.
“When we return, we will be doing things a little differently than in the past to make sure we’re following all the necessary safety precautions.
“But please rest assured that a member of our team will be on hand to make it as easy and straightforward as possible for you.
“We’ve had an amazing response in the past and we’re very much looking forward to sorting through all the wonderful items supporters have set aside for us in lockdown.”
Bag it for Bluebell returns to Brinsworth on Monday, August 24th and will be back each month on September 28th, October 26th, November 30th and December 21st.
