Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce launch new Net Zero Service

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce has expanded its service partnerships with the launch of the Chamber Net Zero service.

The new service will allow members to explore the benefits and savings which can be achieved by implementing a thorough energy management strategy to meet their businesses’ Net Zero goals.

Through the Chamber’s accredited partners, Members can expect to receive the latest tools, guidance and services needed to improve the energy efficiency of their properties and operations.

To access the service, Members will be instructed to complete a simple Net Zero Energy Management form on the Chamber’s dedicated Net Zero webpage which can be found at www.brchamber.co.uk/net-zero/

This information will be passed on to the Chambers accredited partners, such as Professional Energy Purchasing, who have been providing Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber members with energy procurement services for several years.

These providers will be able to conduct audits, offer advice, and get members the right information on how to move their business to a sustainable Net Zero future.

Shane Young, Head of Commercial & Partnerships at Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce said,

“I am pleased to announce the launch of our new Chamber Net Zero Service during the 2022 Net Zero awareness week and I hope this will prove another successful benefit for our members to implement into their organisations.

Our local authorities have pledged to help businesses to become Net Zero carbon by 2040 and 2045 respectively. To achieve this, local businesses will need to be more proactive in meeting any future Net Zero credentials which their business may require.

Through this new service, we hope to signpost members through our accredited Chamber partnerships, to get the right information and the tangible actions required to help them implement real change to their businesses”
