Celebrating 30 Years of Compassionate Care in Rotherham – Why Your Business Support Matters
2026 marks a truly special milestone for Rotherham Hospice – 30 years of providing compassionate, specialist care to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. For three decades, the Hospice has been a cornerstone of our community, offering dignity, comfort, and support when it matters most.
But this incredible work is only possible thanks to the generosity of local people and businesses. As we celebrate our 30th Anniversary, we’re inviting the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce business community to join us in making this year unforgettable – and ensuring the Hospice can continue its vital services for the next 30 years.
Why your support matters:
Every year, Rotherham Hospice needs to raise over £10 million to keep its doors open. With only a fraction funded by the NHS, the rest comes from donations, fundraising, and partnerships. Your business can make a real difference – whether through sponsorship, employee fundraising, volunteering, or becoming a corporate partner.
What’s happening in 2026:
We have a calendar of exciting events and initiatives planned to celebrate this milestone, from our 30th anniversary ball at the stunning Wentworth Woodhouse to our brand-new 24-Hour Fitness Challenge. These are fantastic opportunities for businesses to get involved, showcase their commitment to social responsibility, and connect with others who care about making a positive impact locally.
How you can help:
- Sponsor a campaign or donate prizes
- Donation of end of line or surplus stock for our shops
- Join our Forge Club business network
- Encourage your team to volunteer or take part in our anniversary activities
Together, we can ensure that Rotherham Hospice continues to provide exceptional care for generations to come. If your business would like to be part of this incredible journey, please contact our Relationships Manager, Eleanor Hughes at [email protected] or visit www.rotherhamhospice.org.uk.
Let’s make 2026 a year to remember – for the Hospice, for our community, and for the people who need us most.
