Celebrating Summer at Fleming Gardens

Tropical House 01/08/2023

Fleming Gardens families had a fantastic day out at the Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park in Anston last week! 22 of our families spent the day at the park with Project Workers Sally and Dawn, where they enjoyed looking round at all the animals, having a picnic and watching the different shows.

“The day out with Fleming Gardens was absolutely brilliant opportunity for young mums and families who will have no doubt been hit by the cost of living crisis to enjoy a really lovely experience with their little ones and a chance to socialise with other young families, it was easy to access and planned thoroughly and thoughtfully, will be looking forward to future events.” Cherelle, Fleming Gardens mum.

Fleming by the Sea 21/08/2023

The seaside came to Fleming Gardens! Rotherham families had a fantastic time at our summer event, Fleming by the Sea. Families and friends came down to the cul-de-sac to enjoy pirate activities, sensory games, chips and ice cream!

“All I can say about today is it has been absolutely amazing to get out with the boy’s, having the opportunity to chat and meet with the other parents has been brilliant. It’s lovely watching the boys socialise and get to know other children. Thank you for inviting us we have all loved it! Can’t wait for the next one!” Fleming Gardens parent, Charlotte.

“It was a wonderful afternoon with lovely activities, great staff and thoroughly enjoyed by adults and kids. Lovely range of activities and the ice creams were deffo a favourite!” Fleming Gardens parent, Cherelle.

Fleming by the Sea 23/08/2023

We’d like to say a big thank you to Grimm & Co. for providing fantastic sensory activities at our summer event, Fleming by the Sea, last week.

Our families loved playing with all the different sensory toys and chatting with Sarah and Louise.

Grimm and co will be visiting Fleming Gardens in September for 6 weeks to deliver workshops for our families, watch this space!

Thank you to Gratino’s ice cream van for providing refreshments at Fleming by the Sea last week!
