At Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, preparations are afoot to host the International Women’s Day event on March 8, 2023, at the breathtaking Wentworth Woodhouse. The event, sponsored by AESSEAL promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is #EmbraceEquity, and what better way to celebrate this than with a line-up of incredible speakers including the remarkable Master Cutler Dame Julie Kenny DBE DL, Kelly Wooller owner of ACW Medical Services, and Claire Louise Dickinson Finance Director at AESSEAL.

As Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber Chief Executive – Designate, Carrie Sudbury is thrilled to be hosting this event and is committed to promoting gender equality throughout the Chamber membership.

Carrie Sudbury said, “I am looking forward to hosting our International Women’s Day as it provides an incredible opportunity for businesses to come together to celebrate the achievements of women in our organisations, and inspires us to continue to push the boundaries of success even further. This day highlights the significance of women in the South Yorkshire business community, and it’s essential to recognise and celebrate the contribution that women make to our workplaces.”

The event will also feature the incredible Sile Sibanda, who will open and close the event with her thought-provoking spoken word poetry. Sile is an inspiring individual who has used her platform to shed light on issues affecting women and marginalized communities.

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce is honoured to host this event and is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space where attendees can network, learn, and grow. This event is an excellent opportunity for businesses to show their support for gender equality and to celebrate the incredible achievements of women worldwide.

Join the Chamber of Commerce and AESSEAL in celebrating International Women’s Day 2023 in which ever way you can.

The event will see over 100 guests at Wentworth Woodhouse for a day filled with inspiration, networking opportunities, and thought-provoking discussions.

We look forward to seeing our guests on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023, at Wentworth Woodhouse.
