Clear Quality gains approval to deliver Apprenticeships

Clear Quality Limited, a “BS EN ISO Consultancy and Certification body” business based in South Yorkshire, is proud to announce that it has been approved by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to become a Prime Apprenticeship training provider on the Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP).

The business has gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years. Debbie Whitehead, the company’s owner and CEO, incorporated Clear Quality in March 2017, initially supporting just one client, in Sheffield, through implementation of the BS EN ISO9001:2015 standards. The business’s reputation grew quickly, enabling Debbie to recruit her first consultant, Darren Forder, within just 6 months. Thereafter, through hard work, determination and a reputation for excellence, the business continued to grow, with additional specialists recruited to support businesses across the country with their quality compliance requirements, in readiness for certification.

Debbie then identified a gap in the industry for staff training and development relating to quality compliance and appointed Beth Rhodes as the company’s Training Director in September 2021.

Beth’s first goal, with Charlotte Palmer, the Compliance Manager, was to create an online e-learning training platform to support individuals with their own CPD and personnel development. Following this success, it was decided to go one step further and apply to become an ISO certification body. This was successfully achieved in December 2021 and the business now supports over 200 companies nationally through its ISO consultancy services and its rapidly growing Certification Body – in the past nine months alone, it has accredited over 20 businesses with their ISO certifications.

Having been recommended by one of its Apprentice Levy paying customers, Clear Quality applied to the Educational Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to become a “prime” Apprenticeship training provider, included on the RoATP.  From our research, it appears that, so far this year, out of over 100 applicants, only 40 companies have successfully met the “more stringent and challenging entry requirements” and gained approval for entry on the register.

Clear Quality is now the only ISO consultancy / certification body included on the register that offers specialist accredited Apprenticeship courses in Quality, IT Governance, GDPR and Health Care – all of which are high level courses and align to our core ISO Quality business.

Clear Quality now employs 16 members of staff and continues to grow. Debbie Whitehead “CEO” says:

“I am honoured to work with such amazing people and so excited for the future of Clear Quality. There have been some challenging times for the business, not least due to Covid-19, however, we have overcome all adversity and strive to continually improve and grow our services, offering the complete Quality package to individuals and businesses nationwide.”
