Enviro Electronics offer Free Electronic Disposal Service at The Doncaster Business Showcase

Doncaster’s Green Business of the year have decided to offer a free disposal service for all your old/broken electronics at the Business Showcase on 2nd February 2023 at the Doncaster Racecourse. Enviro electronics will be Exhibiting at stands 38-39 where they will have a secure IT disposal bin for Visitors/Exhibitors to take advantage of.

This idea came from conversations held with Business Doncaster on how we can help our City reach its target to become NET ZERO by 2040, a whole 10 years ahead of the rest of the UK! Our aim is to make WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling simple and cost free so that more items are recycled compared to what we send to Tips and Landfill.

It’s time to clear out that Cupboard of old laptops, phones, tablets etc and bring them down to our team to recycle!

Examples of WEEE that Enviro collects range from servers, PCs, laptops, desktops, telephone systems, right down to toasters, vacuum cleaners, microwaves. In simple terms, we collect pretty much ALL forms of WEEE and operate by a zero to landfill policy.

Our aim is to reuse or repurpose where we can to put equipment back in the system. By doing this we are able to support community projects where we donate essential IT equipment to organisations and families affected by Digital Poverty to ensure children can do their homework, adults can take courses online or apply for jobs etc. So not only are you helping the environment, you’re also giving back to your local area!

We would love for everyone looking to recycle for free to visit our stand to learn more about our simple end to end service. We are happy to book larger collections on the day for businesses or arrange to have our bins sent to your site! YES this is all absolutely FREE!
