Duration: 2 1/2 Day Sessions
On the 31st December 2020 the UK will be at the end of the Transition Period, having left the EU. Whilst the UK government is currently attempting to negotiate a Free Trade Agreement which would continue to allow us and EU member states preferential access to the EU, this does not mean that the need for Customs Entries will disappear. In fact, if we do get a Free Trade deal, even more paperwork and due diligence will be required.
There are therefore, key elements that your shipping staff will need to understand in order to facilitate the efficient movement of your shipments (export or import) through Customs controls.
This workshop will present those key elements in a plain English format and provide clear guidance on what your business needs to do and how to do it. Delegates will leave the course with the knowledge and confidence to apply what they’ve learnt back at the office.
Suitable for those businesses who trade only with the EU, as well as for those exporting and importing to and from non-EU countries.
