Quarterly Economic Review Breakfast: Q2

July 12, 2018 at 8:00 AM- 10:00 AM

Free to attend, this is an informative breakfast briefing is designed to enable business-leaders across South Yorkshire to keep their finger on the pulse as far as economic and investment conditions are concerned.

Following analysis of the Sheffield City Region’s latest Quarterly Economic Survey, this event is the first public opportunity to listen to the observations and concerns of respondents from across the region, helping us identify the aspects that require lobbying key decision-makers on topical issues that support jobs, growth and the regional economy. Current conditions will be assessed by economic experts, and measured against previous feedback to determine the direction-of-travel against a backdrop of prevailing economic uncertainty and political instability.

This event also examines the efforts that local employers are making on issues relating to the health and wellbeing of their staff at a time where higher productivity is being expected from ever-scarcer resources. Addressing these issues will be Richard Holmes, Managing Director of Westfield’s Health & Wellbeing company; followed by an interactive compered Panel discussion featuring regional business-leaders.
