Gain an understanding of how your website is used by search engines, users and other businesses. With an enhanced analytical understanding of your target market, you can improve your strategies, along with expansions if needed. As an individual this knowledge is invaluable as you can learn how other businesses target you.
The sessions will take you through the theory and practice of web analytics involving practical exercises. It will introduce the basics of SEO, adaptive design, accessibility and Google analytics.

Pre-requisites:

Basic knowledge of HTML and hyperlinks between pages is assumed.

You must be employed in South Yorkshire.

Who should attend?

Anyone wishing to expand their digital skills in web analytics. This will contribute to greater of awareness of how to get the most out of a website.

Please note there is no significant hands-on coding but being familiar with HTML, meta data and linking pages will help.

Additional Information:

Places are limited to 20 persons, and we will operate a first-come-first-served basis.

Due to the requirements of our funding body, we will need to collect some information from you. This is to confirm eligibility and employment status, prior to the course enrolment. Registering for this event will be taken as consent for us to contact you for details required to check eligibility.
