With fifteen years of experience as Head of Security and Data Behaviours at BT, Mike was responsible for shaping and delivering BT’s security and data culture, as well as designing comprehensive education and compliance programmes in ethical social engineering and data behaviours.

Mike pioneered the development and global implementation of BT’s “Human Firewall” and “Data Privacy:Play Your Part” initiatives – both of which transformed how employees understand and protect data.

As an ethical hacker, Mike brings deep expertise across all aspects of social engineering and ethical hacking, combined with over twenty-four years of experience in behavioural psychology, specialising in influence, cyber psychology, and behavioural profiling.

He’s also skilled in body language analysis and holds qualifications as a hypnotherapist and cognitive behavioural therapist, making his approach to education both insightful and practical.

Mike is passionate about making training impactful, engaging, and effective, helping individuals truly embody the human firewall philosophy. His seminars and workshops draw on real-world experiences from ethical hacking, social engineering, and compliance challenges.
