From crisis to confidence: Award-winning Yorkshire events firm paves the way for growth in struggling sector.

More than 126,000 jobs have been lost within the events industry since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, but Barnsley firm FAB Events has emerged ambitious following a brace of wins at the Corporate Vision awards.

The company, specialist in events strategy, collected the Customer Care Excellence award alongside Best Event Planning & Management Company award during the height of unprecedented difficulties for the sector.

They have now joined forces with small businesses across the region to provide them with sustainable solutions to their event needs, to combat issues raised by government limitations on the sector.

Company founder Zoe Wadsworth said: ‘It is vital for our industry that as many people in the community know the benefits of our work for them. Customer service should not be hindered by a situation that is out of our control. My hope is that by bringing the events community together with small businesses we can provide creative opportunities for the sector and region to thrive.’

FAB Events repeatedly put customer service at the forefront of their business activity. Their recently launched video series, centred around giving other small businesses the platform to talk about what they do and provide tips to others, is testament to their ambition.
