Gulliver’s expands its management team with director hire

Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts has appointed David Bold as director of two of its theme parks in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

David, who comes from Wigan, will be overseeing the operation of both Gulliver’s Valley resort in Rotherham and Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath.

He brings more than a decade of hospitality experience with him to the role, having worked for Moto Hospitality in management positions for the last decade.

David, said: “In my role as a director with Gulliver’s I’ll be responsible for ensuring the guest experience is of the highest possible standard.

“I’m looking forward to helping both Gulliver’s Valley and Gulliver’s Kingdom flourish even further, achieving their full potential. It’s a very rewarding role and a great company to work for, getting to see the smiles on families’ faces at the end of the day after visiting our parks.”

David’s appointment comes just weeks after Gulliver’s announced the appointment of Steve Donnelly from Lincoln as its new director of guest experience and entertainment.
