Gulliver’s introduces special sessions for tots

Gulliver’s Valley, the new theme park in Rotherham, has announced it will be trialling some new daily sessions just for younger children.

Gully Town Tots, which will initially be introduced as a two-week trial, will give toddlers and pre-school children access to Gully Town, the indoor play areas and the petting farm on Mondays to Fridays.

The cost for a two-hour session, which must be pre-booked and start from Monday 7 September, will be £8 for children and £2 for adults. Customers will be able to enjoy a host of activities including Gully Town play buildings, a triple-storey soft play area, treetop drop ride, melody mayhem ride, junior Carousel ride, Gully’s Golf and Gully Town Grand Prix driving school.

In addition, the Curiosity Café will be open for refreshments and some specialty activities are set to be introduced such as character meet and greets, including from the Clangers.

All other indoor and outdoor attractions and rides at Gulliver’s Valley will not be available during these times.

Dave Brown, general manager of Gulliver’s Valley, said: “We are really excited to launch the Gully Town Tots sessions for this two-week period in September and are confident they will prove to be popular with parents and carers looking for a new and exciting place to bring their little ones.

“Here at Gulliver’s, we’re always looking to find new ways to engage with our young customers and to give them the opportunity to play and have fun in a safe and comfortable environment. If all goes well, we hope these sessions can become a permanent fixture in our offering here at Gulliver’s Valley.”

In line with current government guidance, a number of additional safety measures have been made to the park in response to the pandemic, including temperature checks on arrival, mandatory advanced booking, contactless entry and social distancing measures.
