Gulliver’s launches animated series on YouTube

The team behind Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts has today (9 June) launched ‘Gully’s Toon Time’ – an animated children’s TV series, hosted on YouTube.

The six-part series, produced by 3Megos, will run on the newly unveiled Gulliver’s TV YouTube channel, following the adventures of the theme parks’ mascots, the Gully Gang.

Julie Dalton, managing director of Gulliver’s Resorts, said: “We’re so excited to unveil our new TV series, bringing our much-loved Gully Mouse and friends to life for the first time.

“We know that lots of children and families are still at home and are looking for different things to do to keep them entertained and we’re sure that Gully’s Toon Time will be a real hit.

“It’s been great fun putting the series together and we hope young audiences across the country tune in to follow the adventures on screen.”

Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts are working on Gulliver’s Valley in Rotherham, the fourth park in the Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts family, this will be a welcome addition to Gulliver’s Kingdom, in Matlock Bath, Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes and Gulliver’s World in Warrington.

The Gulliver’s story began back in 1978, when Ray and Hilary Phillips created a model village on the hillside of Matlock Bath for young children to enjoy and, in turn, unwittingly went on to create some of the UK’s most successful theme park resorts. The company remains in the same family to this day with Julie Dalton, Ray and Hilary’s daughter, now managing director of Gulliver’s and her brother Nick, development director, who is also heavily involved in the day to day running of the business.

“Gully Mouse is the mascot for all of the Gulliver’s Valley Theme Parks and is a real family favourite. He entertains visitors and gets up to all sorts of mischief and now children will be able to enjoy his escapades online,” added Julie.

The first episode of Gully’s Toon Time is available from today [09 June 2020] at https://bit.ly/3hcjNsI
