Hydra Creative collaborates with UK’s most successful basketball team

Award-winning digital agency, Hydra Creative, has partnered with women’s basketball club, Sheffield Hatters, to design and produce stylish branding and an effective new website.

For 60 years, the charity has been and continues to be the number one destination for women of all ages in the Sheffield area who want to play basketball. However, the cost of entering the Women’s British Basketball League each season meant that the Hatters had missed the 2020/21 season, due to being unable to raise enough funds to cover the entry fees, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. They feared a repeat of this struggle could prevent them from entering the 2021/22 basketball season, too.

Hydra Creative helped by agreeing a sponsorship and support deal with the Hatters, that has seen Hydra Creative become one of the kit sponsors for the 2021/22 season. As well as a new logo to celebrate their 60th anniversary, and an exciting new brochure, Hydra Creative also created the new Sheffield Hatters website, which is now live, and can be visited at www.sheffieldhatters.com

Sheffield Hatters head coach, Vanessa Ellis, said: “We are super excited about the new Hatters website, which has been developed by Hydra Creative. This will give us an opportunity to share more club information, stories, news, and much more about the Hatters”. The website has been designed to represent the talented women who are part of the Sheffield Hatters team, past, present, and future.

Director of Hydra Creative, Ryan Daniels, said, “We will always do what we can to support a local charity. Being able to help the Hatters has been a pleasure, and we hope that the new website will provide them with future sponsorship opportunities. We can’t wait to see where the new website takes the team”.
