As a Board member, you will play a crucial role in the overall stewardship of the charity and the strategic oversight of our vision, development, and performance. From ensuring legal and financial obligations to supporting the Senior Leadership Team and maximising resources, your contribution will be paramount to our future success.

We are particularly keen on finding individuals who can bring their leadership and strategic thinking skills to the table. As a Board member, you will also act as a champion for key areas of activity, advocating for Barnsley Civic within the local and regional community.

We are especially looking for people who have strengths in the following areas; fundraising, marketing and communications, community engagement, finance, venue/operational management, HR, business/commercial development, and education. We would very much welcome your unique skills and experiences to enrich our organisation.
