Professional training and coaching provider The B2W Group has launched its new Digital Fast Track provision, designed to upskill young people and support them as they launch their digital marketing careers, available to 19-24 year olds living in the Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire areas.

Learners will engage in 7 weeks’ digital marketing training with The B2W Group, where they will be exposed to a number of areas to improve their employability skills, as well as technical skills relating to Digital Marketing.

Areas covered in the Digital Fast Track includes:

  • Digital Technologies in the Workplace
  • An Introduction to Software Development
  • Key Principles of Marketing
  • CV Writing
  • Team Working
  • Confidence Building
  • IT Security

From there, learners will be matched with one of The B2W Group’s employer partners and undertake 3 weeks’ work experience.

The placement is designed to expose learners to a professional working environment and help them build the digital skills needed to launch their career. During their time with an employer, learners will also complete a digital marketing project to add to their own CV and portfolio.

Learners will also receive £300 to support them throughout their course, which will also cover their expenses during their work experience placement.

Upon completion of the Digital Fast Track, learners will be perfectly placed to move into full-time employment in digital or continue their development with a Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship provided by The B2W Group.

The B2W Group’s Head of Marketing Dave Bailey said: “The launch of our Digital Fast Track comes at the perfect time. The digital landscape is constantly shifting and these skills are now more vital than ever. We’re proud to be able to deliver industry-leading training to young people in order to support them onto the first rung of their professional career ladder.”

Businesses looking to support young people’s digital career prospects can partner with The B2W Group to provide 3 weeks’ work experience for learners.

Under a new £111m government scheme, businesses will be funded with £1,000 for each new work experience placement they offer, with a maximum of 10 placements per year. This works out at up to £10,000 per year for businesses willing to support young people through their work experience placements.
