New Law on Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Workplace- Are you prepared?

In October 2024, there will be a significant change in the law which puts the responsibility on employers to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace.

Employers must take proactive measures now to educate their employees on this matter.

It’s crucial to acknowledge that employees may not have a full understanding of sexual harassment, especially in diverse workplaces encompassing various cultures and generations.

Sexual harassment is a major contributor to a toxic workplace culture and is often underreported. To fulfil your duty of care to your people, employers need to comprehend the ramifications of sexual harassment and take preventive measures.

Our Sexual Harassment Prevention Training provides practical, interactive content designed to foster genuine engagement and collective responsibility in cultivating and maintaining a culture of respect.

The aim of this training course is to help individuals recognise behaviour that could constitute sexual harassment and to understand the legislation and prevent sexual harassment occurring in the place of work.

We will be running two separate training courses:

  1. Sexual Harassment Training – Half Day (Aimed at Line Managers and Leaders)
  2. Sexual Harassment Training – 1.5 hours (Aimed at employees of all levels)

Dates are to be confirmed. To be added to our waiting list and secure your place, please contact us today at 0333 888 1360 or email [email protected]

As an organisation if you want to book more than 10 employees onto the course, we are happy to look at group discounted costs, please contact our Training Lead, Ellie Hand, at [email protected] for more details.
