Information is moving fast and so is Ritchie Bros. With concerns about large gatherings growing around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have made the decision to make some changes to our UK auction taking place on the 24th and 25th March in Maltby, in line with our other European auctions this month.

Thanks to our industry-leading online bidding system and mobile application, our auction will still be going ahead but will now be an online event, with all bidding taking place on our website and mobile app in the format of our Timed Auction on rbauction.com.

We are confident this is a very successful way to sell your machinery in our auction Maltby February auction, 86% of our registered bidders and 75% of our buyers decided to bid online.

Bidding online in a Ritchie Bros. auction is easy & can be done from any location. Here are a few simple steps to get you set up:

  1. Log In/Create an online account
  2. Register for the auction
  3. Verify your account/place a deposit
  4. Place bids from Friday 20th March
  5. Tuesday 24th & Wednesday 25th March – lots will begin to close. Individual closing times will be visible on each item.
  6. Each lot will have auto extend function to keep the lot live whilst bidding is active.

Inspection reports are available to view on the website here.

The Maltby auction yard will still be open for inspections in the run up to the auction and staff will be onsite to help out.

More information about bidding in our Timed Auction can be found here, alternatively do not hesitate to contact our team on +44 1332 819700 for assistance with registering online & for any other questions.
