Professional Energy Purchasing Rebrands to Professional Energy People: Reflecting its Commitment to Sustainable Energy Solutions

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber energy partner, Professional Energy Purchasing has proudly announced its rebrand to Professional Energy People. This strategic transformation underscores the company’s evolution towards comprehensive energy management solutions, emphasising its dedication to sustainability and client-centric services.

Established in 2013 by Managing Director and esteemed energy expert, Linda Spencer, Professional Energy People was founded with a mission to offer competitive and impartial gas and electricity prices to businesses. Linda attributes the continued success of the company’s procurement service to its exceptional team, prioritising ongoing support and service excellence beyond contract signings.

Over recent years the energy market has seen significant shifts including unprecedented price hikes causing over inflated costs, and government legislation that is driving the country to become Net Zero by 2050.

This has fuelled a growing demand from businesses to reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprints to make them more sustainable.

These factors led to the company’s investment in a skilled energy management team who work with closely with clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop tailored reports outlining strategies for energy efficiency and emission reduction.

Since inception, the team has conducted numerous audits, resulting in substantial savings for clients across various sectors. Additionally, Professional Energy People has played a pivotal role in delivering exceptional outcomes for local authority programmes throughout the region.

Commenting on the rebrand Linda Spencer, MD stated “The evolution of our business in response to changing market dynamics has necessitated a holistic approach towards energy solutions. Our expanded energy management division now offers comprehensive support for energy compliance and practical energy reduction planning, aligning with organisations’ commercial and sustainability goals.

This rebrand to Professional Energy People reflects the company’s belief that its greatest asset is its people, whilst symbolising a new chapter in the company’s journey towards empowering businesses and communities with efficient and sustainable energy practices.”

Members can get energy support from the team at PEP through your Chamber account manager.

The rebrand will be live from the 29th April 2024.
