Professional Energy Purchasing Support Charity to Help More Adults Achieve their Potential

Energy Partner Professional Energy Purchasing is supporting adults with motor disorders and complex brain injuries by sponsoring the life skills room for a South Yorkshire-based specialist centre and charity.

Paces moved into their new base at Smithy Wood earlier this year allowing Paces Living Adult Services to grow and support three-times as many adults in the future.

The Life Skills Room offers a much-improved space for conductive education sessions that improve the mobility of those who have acquired brain injuries – such as through a Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s.

This support is close to the heart of Linda Spencer managing director whose son has learning difficulties so understands the importance of facilities like these:

“It’s lovely to finally see the new Adult Life Skills Room in use. I think lockdown will have been particularly difficult for anyone needing this kind of support because it’s where they go to meet friends and peers, as well as learning life skills. The new space is fantastic and much larger than before so they can all be in together.”
