Rejus Celebrates Achieving 3 ISO Accreditations

Rejus Ltd. are proud to confirm that they have recently become one of the few Facilities Management companies in the region to achieve all three of the following ISO accreditations. The awards acknowledge high standards in Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety.

The certifications mean that the company’s management processes have been audited and verified by the internationally recognised UKAS Management Systems. The months long process has resulted in the following awards.

ISO9001 / 2015 – Quality Management Award

ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised quality management system standard, and was established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The ISO 9001 standard helps organisations implement clear and repeatable processes that guarantee a quality service for their customers every time.

The quality of their operation management is a big part of what Rejus offers to customers, and this award is their guarantee of a consistency.

ISO14001 / 2015 – Environmental Management Award

ISO 14001 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system. The award defines the framework that a company should follow to implement an effective environmental management system. The systems used by any given company and how they react to ongoing environmental concerns, such as climate change, play a big role in the qualifying process.

Rejus commit to environmentally friendly cleaning products and equipment where possible. The company is always working to improve and increase communication about their social responsibility activities. One of the ways is to keep website visitors updated with their Social Responsibility page.

ISO450001 / 2015 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Award

ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect both visitors and employees from work-related accidents. Safety systems in place should also work to reduce the chance of diseases being caught in the workplace. This certification has been developed to mitigate and control any factors that can cause employees and businesses harm.

Achieving this guarantees that a contractor is going above and beyond the Government mandated minimum amount.

What do these Accreditations to ISO standards mean to customers?

With this Rejus customers know that a third-party organisation has been to the supplier and audited their systems thoroughly. The accreditation means that customers know the company’s systems adhere to and meet international standards. At its most simple. When a customer comes to selecting a new supplier, this provides a very clear contrast between them and their competitors.

Selecting the right company for maintenance work can be challenging enough. The ISO accreditation provides reassurance when it comes to this selection, and having the comfort of knowing that that organisation has strong processes in place. There is a greater assurance that demonstrates a commitment to meeting customers’ needs and the needs of wider stakeholders.

For their customers this means that Rejus meet international standards in quality management, health and safety management and environmental management. Companies know they are partnering with a supplier that has invested time and money into achieving these standards.

What does accreditation to ISO standards mean to the company?

Whilst the ethos of the company remains as simple as “on time, on budget, and safely“, the ISO standards provide the recognisable framework to consistently continue to do this, enabling growth while managing risks. The standards help to reduce or negate any risk to Rejus customers, staff, suppliers, and the community in which they work.

Commenting on this achievement, Rejus director Mathew Lynds commented:

“By leading the way for their industry in the region perhaps we can encourage others to take the same steps in improvement for the community. Whether that’s health and safety, quality, environmental or carbon reduction. Small steps collectively, result in massive change.

It must be said that what we’ve achieved in the last 4 months is massive, outstanding. Its putting us on a national scale, i.e., Rejus hold to and do what international and national companies are doing. Small company, big impact.”

The company are also announcing the launching of a new in progress Accreditations page to allow website visitors to see their achieved accreditations. With this Rejus are guaranteeing an improving level of quality and transparency as they continue to update this page. Click here to view.
