RNN Group Launches Skills Academy for Staff

RNN Group – made up of Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and University Centre Rotherham – have launched a Skills Academy for staff to support with professional development.

Education and training are central to the Group’s mission and aims, and our staff are passionate and dedicated when it comes to continuous professional development, knowing the positive impact it can make on learners and staff alike.

The RNN Skills Academy is part of the Group’s commitment to high-quality professional development for all staff.  The aim of the Skills Academy is to ensure that all staff benefit from vocationally relevant qualifications and industry-standard skills training which enable them to fulfil the requirements of their role to a high standard.

The RNN Skills Academy is situated on a dedicated site and is designed to showcase all of the many possibilities available for our staff to develop their skills, enhance their role or put them on the path to progressing their career with us.

The site includes information about the opportunities available, whether that be industry updating, upskilling in English or maths, undertaking an apprenticeship or broadening knowledge on subject specific areas. There will be something for everyone as this is designed to be inclusive regardless of the role a member of staff does, or the area they work in.
