A brand new platform has launched to raise the profile of the many diverse businesses in Barnsley.

Realising there was no one place exclusively for Barnsley businesses to form strategic partnerships, and no one place for the town to ‘shop local’, Chamber member Claire Taylor, of Raspberry Flamingo Copywriting and Content Marketing, set about changing that.    Along with an associate business owner from the town, the idea of Barnsley Business Directory was born.

Who Barnsley Business Directory is for

The short answer is any and all businesses who have a Barnsley address.  From those working their business part time from home, to large, well-established companies.

Whether B2B or B2C the Directory will help connect businesses to their target customers and enable them to find specialist support and build strategic partnerships.

Advice from Premier Partners in the fields such as HR, accountancy, health and safety, IT, marketing, to name just a few, will be disseminated to all member businesses so they are kept up-to-date with any changes in regulations, laws, and general updates in those specific sectors.

The aim is to help Barnsley businesses grow both in terms of turnover and in terms of streamlining and automating their systems and procedures to make them more efficient.
