Matthew Ridsdale
Matthew is an experienced, award-winning PR professional who founded Rotherham-based Cannon PR in 2011. Three years later he became the first South Yorkshire-based PR professional to be awarded the title of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire’s Freelance PR practitioner of the year, presented by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
In a career spanning 20 years, Matthew has used his expertise and knowledge to support a wide range of businesses, ranging from ambitious start-up ventures to some of Britain’s best known brands. As a mentor, Matthew will help you to understand how to develop and implement an effective communications strategy to help your business stand out from the crowd.
Matthew is a Chartered PR practitioner, holds an MSc in Public Relations attained from the University of Stirling, and actively participates in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Continuous Professional Development programme.
