The Jordan Legacy

As part of our reflections on “World Suicide Prevention Day” , earlier this year the Chamber lost two members who recently died by suicide.

We want to try and prevent similar future crises and having mentally healthy work environments, checking in on people’s mental wellbeing, and providing support for those who are struggling are increasingly being recognised as core business issues as we all seek sustainable success.

The Chamber is keen to play an appropriate role in providing or facilitating information or support for its members by working with specialists in this field. One organisation we are looking to work with is The Jordan Legacy, which is running an online event on 30 September on “Creating Psychologically Safer Workplaces”. The event is free (with the option to make a donation to The Jordan Legacy) and you can book via this link. You can attend live, 1-3pm, or register to receive the recording.

As a follow on the Chamber and he Jordan Legacy are also jointly planning an in-person event for November to help raise awareness around workplace mental health issues and suicide prevention and we will send you details of this event in due course.
