Water treatment and filtration specialists, Sterling Hydrotech acquired by Marlowe plc
Chesterfield based swimming pool water treatment and filtration specialists, Sterling Hydrotech have recently been acquired by Marlowe plc for an undisclosed sum.
Sterling Hydrotech which was founded in Chesterfield, Derbyshire in 1988, employs approximately 40 staff and is one of the UKs largest water treatment companies within the leisure industry. The acquisition provides attractive synergies with Marlowe’s testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) division.
On completion, outgoing Managing Director of Sterling Hydrotech, Steve Thompson said “We are extremely proud of the businesses development throughout its history. When we were approached by Marlowe plc, we were confident that transferring the business to them would ensure that the legacy we created will continue. We have a fantastic team at Sterling Hydrotech, and we are looking forward to seeing the continued success of the business in the safe hands of Marlowe plc.”
