Crossroads Care Rotherham Volunteer Project
We will be moving our charity and coffee shop ‘The Corner’ in January (date tbc) to larger premises on Bridge Gate, just around the corner from our current premises. We would like to recruit a team of people to help move the stock and equipment.
This would be over a couple of days and would include moving and handling of items ranging from light to heavier items, but will be managed and adjusted to suit individual’s abilities.
Once all stock has been moved, it would then need setting up and merchandising in the new shop, ready for opening day.
Risk assessment would be completed by the organisation to ensure volunteers are not put at risk of injury.
Trolleys will be available to move items to the new store, to reduce any moving and handling issues.
